Just a quick hi to everybody here, just joined your forum, hoping to get some knowledge and pointers from some of you, as i try my hand at photography.

Always been interested in photography, i like landscape shots and generally the outdoor pictures all-round.

So i've invested in a Canon Eos 450D, with standard 18-55mm lens, and i'm just looking at getting a 75-300mm lens too. Lets just hope i can do it and i'm not wasting my money.

Anyway hello to you all.

Welcome to our small friendly forum.....

We were all in your boat once rich and the best way to learn what your camera is VERY capeable of is shoot shoot & shoot some more. I for one have been totally addicted ever since i bought my Eos 40D

A few members have your choice of camera, however modern EOS systems Are very similar. If you need any help just shout out.

I can recommend the Canon 75 - 300mm IS USM Lens

Hope you enjoy your kit and the forum & i look forward to seeing some of your pics soon...

Daz

Thanks Daz, yeah that was a good recommendation for a lens, as i have just bought one right now lol, so we'll see how it goes. You're right about shooting though, i can't put the camera down.

Cheers, Rich.
