Just thought i'd offer a small tutorial for some thing that i have used now and then, but last night i took a series of pictures with this technique in mind, it didn't turn out as well as i liked so i thought i'd use it to show how i got it.

Now as you may or may not know some times i like to isolate single people in my photos i can do this by either.

1) The clone tool.....ok if the back ground is suitable and theres not to many.

2) Composition .....Easier at times but normally in town a little to hard due to the amount of people.

or i can use this technique

1st thing you need to do is take a series of pictures, best if you use a tripod as it's kinda similar to making a series of exposures for HDR...make sure the clouds are not fast moving though....here's a set i made earlier

I use CS3 ,i'm not sure if you can do this with earlier versions

Open CS3 and select file-scripts-statistics select median as the stack mode and load the series of shots in, press OK and watch it do it's thing....after a while it should output the results, such as

now there maybe a few legs/arms and heads floating about such as this

but it's far easier to get rid of them then a whole body.so with a few other adjustments you end up with something like this

not a great shot ,just purely a demo

Great tutorial Vic. Sadly this cannot be done in Elements but it shows just how advanced you have got to.

Cracking tutorial - I'll bear this in mind next time I'm out and about with the camera ::
